About Piper SILBERMAN
Piper. He was so many things. He was smart, kind and funny. He was talented - academically, athletically and musically. His greatest strength and biggest weakness was his empathy. He saw the world in a way that few people his age were capable. He loved wholeheartedly and felt both the good and bad in the world too deeply. He knew what was important in life and gave all he had to everyone he knew. If only he allowed us to do the same for him.Sometimes, certain people are not meant to stay with us. Piper was one of those people. He did all he could to work through his struggles but ultimately, he wasn’t able to find a way to stay. If love was enough to keep someone here, Piper would have lived a thousand lifetimes.Piper was in his senior year at Springfield Township High School when he took his life. He died on December 15, 2022. He will never be forgotten and the foundation will ensure that his light continues to shine throughout the community.
